CMD Treatment (Temporomandibular Joint)

Craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD) affects the interaction between the temporomandibular joint, the muscles, and posture—and can cause widespread symptoms throughout the body.

Typical symptoms:

Jaw clicking or pain, teeth grinding (bruxism), head and neck pain, tension in the shoulder area, limited mouth opening, as well as tension headaches, dizziness, and tinnitus.

Our approach:

The focus is on a holistic approach to the jaw, cervical spine, and posture. The causes often lie in muscular imbalances, stress, or improper strain.

Using targeted manual techniques, we release tension in the jaw and neck area, improve the mobility of the temporomandibular joint, and regulate muscle activity.

In addition, we’ll show you exercises for relaxation, coordination, and posture correction—for lasting relief in your daily life.

Goal:

Pain relief, relaxed jaw muscles, and a harmonious interaction between the jaw, posture, and movement.

What sets us apart:

Close collaboration with dentists and orthodontists, combined with a holistic approach to the jaw, spine, and posture—for targeted and sustainable treatment of the cause, not just the symptoms.
